We have developed a workable approach to serve employers and their hourly employees. We evaluated the problems associated with traditional health and life benefits and employee funding.
What do employers need?
Employers need a program that requires little or no direct cost or risk and limited administration.
They need recruitment and retention tools, not added burdens to the bottom line or limited staffs. Yet, they also need to be viewed in a positive light as sponsors of something that their employees, present and future, want and need.
It's the value added to being employed by their company that employers need to compete effectively.
To accomplish this we:
- Created voluntary insurance products, making it possible to minimize the employer's financial exposure
- Developed a variety of processes, automated and manual, to simplify the transfer of information about who's enrolled in what, and for whom payroll deductions have been taken
- Assembled, to ensure excellent service and quality control, all administrative support functions under one roof. Including premium and eligibility administration, customer service, client services, claims paying, and the design and production of all program materials used for solicitation, enrollment and fulfillment
